Releasing commands automaticly

Releasing commands automaticly

Releasing commands automaticly

(OP)
Hello,

Is there any way solid edge to make it default to release a command as soon as I have used it and go to the "arrow function/pointer" It is more common for me to use different commands in sequence than using the same over and over. If I want to select something after having used a command I need to pick the pointer tool icon or hit the esc- button or else the previous command starts over. Preferably I would like to be able to lock a command as is default today by double-clicking the icon, or else have it released after using it once if I just single-click the icon.

I hope you understand ny questions and that one of all users know for sure whether it is possible to set options like this or not.

Best regards,

Christer

RE: Releasing commands automaticly

Depending upon what command you have selected, try a right-click (or two or three) of the mouse to release a command.

Kevin

Thanks for this answer, however, this was not precisely what I was looking for. The thing I want to achieve is to have Solid edge release the command without any input from me after the command is finished.

I have searched the help topics without success.
