Adding to Design Scenarios

Adding to Design Scenarios

Adding to Design Scenarios

(OP)
Is it possible to "add to" design scenarios so you don't have to run the originals over again.

Example
I make a design scenario with one variable changing in three sets: 1, 3, and 5.  After I run the scenario I want to add two more sets: 7 and 9.  Do I have to run all five sets, or is it possible to run only the two new sets and still have the data for all 5 sets at the end.

RE: Adding to Design Scenarios

Hi,
it is surely possible to add design scenarios and run only the desired ones. In the same dialog window where you set the scenarios' table, you also choose the solving sequence criterium: bear in mind however, that up to v.2004, if you choose to solve several scenarios in the same run,  CosmosWorks will save all results only for the first scenario in the selected sequence, and save only a minimal subset for all the others. If you want to have full results for every scenario, I fear (although this may have changed since v.2004) that you have to solve all scenarios one at a time.

Regards

Thank you.  I feel kind of stupid now that I never tried that.  I just assumed that it would delete the unchecked sets.

In CW2006 it saves the full results of the LAST set done.
