Is it possible to measure the length of a curved line on autocad 14?
If there are several curves can I join them together and measure the length of the whole line rather than measuring each of the curves in turn?
I have a drawing of a door that I want to import as a block into another drawing of a house where it will be used several times. Is it possible to do it so that if I make a change to the first drawing it will show up on all the blocks in the second?
Thanks in advance

RE: R14 questions
if the curves meet end to end, you can convert them to a pline and then LIST it. otherwise you will have to add up each "piece".
You can XREF the item in the other drawings to have it update. Otherwise you would have to insert it again into the other dwgs and have it update the others on insertion.

RE: R14 questions
Here's one from a boundary plat I just did, and it is exactly the same length as it is when converted to pline:
Command: list
1 found
ARC Layer: "swt metes"
Space: Model space
Handle = e635
center point, X=2261055.1289 Y=197865.5278 Z= 0.0000
radius 260.0000
start angle N 17d44'15" W
end angle N 49d52'27" W
length 145.8317
