RE: http://capps.wsu.edu/conferences/wprc/Brochure.pdf

Gee, thanks Steve.  The research so far is more applicable to industrial system than to most utility systems, but I have found some interesting results.  It appears that it is possible to achieve selective instantaneous tripping of circuits feeding transformers for any fault (with reasonable fault resistance) on the primary circuit and well into the transformer.  I hope it generates some interest.

Hi David, it does look very interesting.  Would you mind elaborate a bit on your research or is there an abstract available on the Web?

KJvR, nothing to release yet, but the week of October 20 (the week after WPRC), the paper will be posted at www.basler.com.

I even woke up for David's talk. Great presentation and analysis.
