I have a 12"ID pipe system that is designed with hard pipe loops.  Is there a way to calulate the pressure load back to the anchors?

RE: Anchor Load

You might check in the Piping and Fluid Mechanics Engineering forum.

RE: Anchor Load

Definitely. Piping Stress guys use special softwares for this, to get pipe loads at every support (vertical, guide & anchor, etc)

RE: Anchor Load

Its not so hard that you need anything other than a good spreadsheet for the simple standard configurations.  Its quite possible that you don't need a canned program.
