Is it possible to align break lines in adjacent drawing views?

I have a drawing of a long part with three holes in the top view. I put in a couple of vertical breaks, so I can fit the part on the sheet and still see the holes. Now I want to break the side view and position it so that the ends of the part line up, view to view. I don’t see how to do this other than trial and error.

Any suggestions?

RE: aligning broken views

Go to the properties of the side view.  I believe you want to check the "Align Breaks w/ Parent" option.

RE: aligning broken views

Place the breaks in a view, then use the Projected View tool to create the "adjacent" view. The breaks will be automatically placed & aligned.

Thanks,

Both methods work great.
