Row heights and justification of bars

Row heights and justification of bars

Row heights and justification of bars

(OP)
Simple question for you. I am printing out my project plan on A3 to gain a decent amound of paper to show all the bars, but I have relatively few rows. The rows are spread evenly from top to bottom as I would like but the individual bars shown within the rows are justified to the top of each row - this looks odd when you have grid lines on.

How do I 'centre justify' the bars? Thanks.

Cheers. Sean.

RE: Row heights and justification of bars

Not sure I follow.  Bars can be formatted in the Format Bar menu selection.  The "shape" selection allows you to change the apparent vertical justification of the bar.

My problem stems partly from the fact that I am using a norwegian version of the programme. I do speak norwegian, but not like a norwegian - and I learnt Project in English - anyway.

I adjusted the justification in the format shape section which moves the bars down slightly but the text is still pressed up against the gridline for each particular row. The text has a set height but the rows are now evenly spread such that they become a particular height which is almost three times greater than the text. That is no great drama, but the text is justified top.

(my first post said justifying the bars (I meant both text and bars)).

Thanks.

Cheers. Sean.

Don't think that there's a way.  I've never used the horizontal gridlines because to me, it makes the chart too busy.

Thanks anyway.
