looking for a good book, manual to study and learn post-tension design. any suggestions?

RE: post tension design

I used TY Lin's book decades ago... I understand that he has a new text out co-written by some other guy <G>... More recently I've gone over a text by Libby titled Modern Prestressed Concrete (a couple of decades old).  They are both good texts and there are likely more recent ones that are as good or better.

i've got the pti manual ordered, and just searching for others, thanks.

RE: post tension design

My all time favorite is PRESTRESSED CONCRETE STRUCTURES by Collins and Mitchell (1990). Very concise and comprehensive, plus one of the best examples of technical writing..

RE: post tension design

I had to buy the 3rd edition of PRESTRESSED CONCRETE by Nawy when I was in college.  It was filled with typos and some calculations were incorrect.  My professor was very fond of the Collins and Mitchell text that yakpol mentioned.  If you have a chance to buy the 3rd edition of Nawy I wouldn't do it.  Try to get your hands on the Collins and Mitchell text.
