Frame Generator?

Frame Generator?

Frame Generator?

(OP)
Does Solidworks have a function that is similar to this NEW Inventor function called Frame Generator.  I recall that I came across this ability in Solidworks back a couple of versions ago.

At that time I didn't have a use for it, and now that I can use it, I can't locate it.  What's new!!

Any information on where it resides and how it functions would be greatly appreciated.

RE: Frame Generator?

You mean Weldments, right? Check out the tutorial in SW.

I couldn't remember what it was called.

As I recall, how the function works, is you sketch a model and SW will generate a fully framed up model using the structural steel of your choice.

If that is part of weldments, I will check out the tutorials.

Thanx.
