Automatic cleaning tube condenser

(OP)
Actually in Laguna Verde nueclear poer plant, we are working out in a proposal to install an automatic cleaning tube condeser system. We are inclined by Taprogge systems, but we do not have enough information about it performance, manpower costs and spare parts costs.
Could you any tell me something about theses issues.

Thanks in advance

RE: Automatic cleaning tube condenser

In short, they work.
20 years ago they were unrelaiable and a maint. pain.
Now they will give you the assurance of having full thermal performance every single day.
Others will chime in.  Maybe you should put a link to this post in the power generation forum.

RE: Automatic cleaning tube condenser

I looked into these (in a geneal sense) for possible application to shipboard heat exchangers.

They appeared to be viable, mature, and beneficial for "a small number of large heat exchangers".  They did not appear to be viable for "a large number of small heat exchangers" as typically found on ships.

I do ot have any specifics, however.

BEAUDREY CORPORATION makes the ball cleaning systems also.
