What software are you using to design concrete frame bldgs?  We're using RAM right now but feel that the design process is tedious.  Thoughts are appreciated!

RE: What software are you using

I have used RAM Advanse to design a concrete frame building.  I wouldn't call it tedious considering that you can get your beams detailed and ready to insert in your drawing sheets.  I haven't used STAAD in a while so I can't make a comparison.  I thought that RAM was straight forward and intuitive.

RE: What software are you using

For concrete design, RAM is your best bet. Having used several other programs (SAP2000, ETABS etc.,) RAM makes the detailing and scheduling very easy.
