Assign density and show mass VB/SE

Assign density and show mass VB/SE

Assign density and show mass VB/SE

(OP)
Hi. My VB code makes a part in SE. Now I would like it to tell me the mass of the part automatically when giving the density. The density number should be taken from the VB form and the mass should be back in VB. (a label or something)
Default density units are kg/mm2 but I need it in kg/cm2 at least. How do I change it with VB?

I would aprecciate any help. Thanks

RE: Assign density and show mass VB/SE

I believe internal units in SE are always kg and metres for calculation purposes so you may have to do the conversion youself in the code.
Get hold of the 'Solid Edge Programmers Guide' from their web site.
In the V15 guide there is a chapter on 'Working with Units of Measure'
Hope this helps
