Urgent!!!

We have an emergency requirement to supply ammonia (8000 lb/h anhydrous ammonia) to our FGD (Flue Gas Desulphurization) facility. I am trying to order temporary modular facilities to producing synthetic ammonia using the catalytic steam reforming method. Who knows the availability and the vendors of this kind of facility? Skid mounted is preferred.

Thanks a lot!

RE: Ammonia synthsis modular plant

Have you ever seen an ammonia plant (of any description)?

What were you planning to use for feedstock?  Most ammonia producers use natural gas, although any hydrocarbon can be used.  Lignite is used at Dakota Gas.

I suggest putting in some tanks and buying ammonia by the tanker load.

Thanks, rmw! I have realized the construction of a small ammonia plant is not a short term project, so we decided to buy commercial ammonia and store in tanks.

Thanks anyway!

Wise decision.
