3-D INSTANT WEBSITE

3-D INSTANT WEBSITE

3-D INSTANT WEBSITE

(OP)
Does anyone know if images posted to the 3-D Instant Website can be view using a Mac?  I've posted a file on the SW 3-D website. I can view it with no problems using the PC...however when I try to view it with the Mac, I get an error saying the file can only be viewed using Internet Explorer.  When I switch to using Internet Explorer ... I still get the same error  message.

Thanks  for any help-suggestions.

John

RE: 3-D INSTANT WEBSITE

If the file uses straight HTML format you should be able to view it with any browser from any system. However if it uses eDrawing within it you may have to download the Mac version of eDrawing.

Can you post the URL? There is a Mini-Mac in the office next door, I will test it from there.

cheers

Thanks for the reply, CBL.  From what I can tell, in order for the SW 3-D Instant website to work, it needs to access a software called Active X, which seems to be a Microsoft property. When you go to the SW site, your computer would  supposedly access that software.  Maybe that's why my Mac won't (can't) access the instanst website page.

This is the link.... let me know if you are able to access the page.  You don't need a password.... just hit login.

Thanks for your help.

RE: 3-D INSTANT WEBSITE

Well it let me into the site using Safari on the MAC (IE is not loaded) but I could not see any images, just the "eDrawing ... ActiveX" message.

I'm trying to install eDrawing on the Mac now but am having trouble so will get back to you ASAP.

cheers
