BOM translated in Excel

Hello,
Does anybody know, how to export the BOM created in the CATDrawing file in an Excel file?

Thank you.

RE: BOM translated in Excel

After you analyze the BOM in assembly mode - Save as and change the extension to .xls

Regards,
Derek

Hi Derek,
I did not get it. How to analyze the BOM in assembly mode?

RE: BOM translated in Excel

Rob
Look at your pull down menus between Tools and Window, is Analyze. Click on Bill Of Materials and look for the button. Save As.. Also if you haven't opened that window before you probably have not defined your format... Click on that and set up the things you want to appear on your BOM

We have a macro written that formats our Excel sht to show our document requirements.

Cheers

I don't know anything but the people that do.
