Hi G1DESIGN

it is enought for you to create notes in the inventor's notebook?

RE: ASME 3D ANNOTATION

Do you want the datums and geotol to show in the 2D drawing, or are you looking for tolerances at the part model level?

franco1unfortunatelyweare trying toskip some drawings meaning our shopfloor guys can just open the models and view

designer mike preferably part level only as stated above
dont want to add em on the drawings

thanks mike

RE: ASME 3D ANNOTATION

you can handle tolerances in the 3D environment.

Open a part. just click on a feature in the browser bar and select show dimension.

click on a dimension and select dimension properties. Now you are able to set the tolerance in 3D environment instead of 2D drawing.

Just remember that the link to CAM is able to  handle this kind of information.

Good Luck,

Martin
