Electric Process Heater

Electric Process Heater

Electric Process Heater

(OP)
Greetings all,

I am trying to write a specification for an electric process heater and would appreciate your experience / input if you dealt with an electric process heater before.

The process fluid is steam and the electric heater will be in a petrochemical plant.

My two main concerns are the power controller and the wiring terminal box.

What are some of the prudent things to specify for the power controller?

What are some of the tests I can ask the vendor to perform to ensure that the power controller works, as it should?

What can I specify for the terminal box?

Thanks.
