Hello
Any one has experience on vacuum pipe test aproved by ASME code?

RE: Vacuum test

There is no Code requirement for vacuum testing, just a design method.

RE: Vacuum test

Only as a guide, see ASME VIII Div. 1 UG-99
If you need a leak test, see ASME V

Regards
rhg

RE: Vacuum test

If you're actually pulling a vacuum in the pipe, check to make sure you won't collapse the pipe.

Excelent, thank you, the problem I had was how to get rid of the water after the test. But I already solved it, I will reinject it in a geothermal well, using a cyclon so we won´t clog it.
