Print Headers and Footers

(OP)
Does anyone know of a way to use a custom property in the custom header and footers option in the print screen? I have already tried using the properties that are used to populate into a drawing border.

Thanks in advance!

RE: Print Headers and Footers

From the help on headers and footers:

To create a header or footer:

Click File, Print.

In the Print dialog box, under Document Options, click Header/Footer.

In the Header/Footer dialog box, select a predefined header or footer from the Header and Footer lists.

- or -

Click Custom Header or Custom Footer to create a unique header or footer and do the following:

Select an area of the document where you want the header or footer to appear: Left section, Center section, or Right section.

Select the items you want to appear on the page (Page Numbers , Number of Pages , Date , Time , or Filename ).

To format text, select the text and click Font, choose a font style and size, then click OK.

Click OK to close the Custom Header or Custom Footer dialog box.

The Header preview and Footer preview boxes update according to the items you selected.

Click OK to close the Header/Footer dialog box.

Click OK to close the Print dialog box and print the document.

That all SW has on headers and footers.

I read that, but I was hoping to add a configuration specific property from my part model to be in this header/footer

$PRPSHEET:"VERSION" is what I use to have it populate my border, but I am trying to have it show in the header/footer instead.
