How can I avoid this?

How can I avoid this?

How can I avoid this?

I’m using SW 2004 with my own toolbar settings the way I like it. Sometime when I open someone else’s drawing the toolbar setting changes.

How can I avoid this?

RE: How can I avoid this?

You can't avoid it unless the user of the other pc wants it changed.
You can also do "Start/SolidWorks/SolidWorks Tools/Copy Settings Wizard" to copy your settings to the other pc.

...The toolbar settings on your computer change. That should not be happening.

RE: How can I avoid this?

I agree with Ken.  I check drawing out of Activault and my toolbar settings do not change.

Never argue with an idiot. They'll bring you down to their level and beat you with experience every time.

RE: How can I avoid this?

are you guys running SW04 or the latest? I have seen that happen with earlier versions.
