I am looking on how to design soldier piles in rock. I look at AASHTO 5.6.2 (1999) figure 5.6.2A, but the units do not match when compared with the active pressure, help

Being rock if disgregate only amounts to just different properties of the cohesionless soil. Then you can use any reference on soldier-piles' or tie-aback walls design.

When the backfill has horizontal surface, there are freely downloadable worksheets for Mathcad Professional for both the tied and non tied wall that may help you.

Yestgerday I downloaded a french reference on-line and have not looked at yet. Just in case
