Stair Channel bottom toe in-compression

Stair Channel bottom toe in-compression

(OP)
I am doing work for an ironworker friend.  We are building a cantilevered frame from 12"x10.6 (stair) channel.  4'0" wide, 22feet long centilever and 10'0" at counterbalance.  We will have adequate concrete deadweight at back of 10 foot c'balance section (approx 10,000#) due to patio added to deadweight tied with rebar.  There is a 1/2"x12"x4'0" vertical plate at the fulcrum.  My concern is the compression in the bottom toe at the fulcrum.  My SWAG is to add a 3/8x2"x10ft bar 10 feet both directions from the fulcrum. Is this adequate?  Would I want to box the 4 channel legs instead?  I do not normally work with structurals.
