Dynamic Simulation objective

Dynamic Simulation objective

(OP)
Hello to everybody!

What information give to me one dynamic simulation of one steam system of one refinery?

Can I study, with the help of one dynamic simulation, the possibility of change or to make an substitution of one equipment in a refinery or Crude Upgrader complex?

Thank you,

Best Regards,

LBlópez.

RE: Dynamic Simulation objective

You only need a dynamic simulation if you are looking at changes in pressures and temperatures with time, you might want one to look at start up concerns for example, if you just want to add more equipment on an existing facility you only need a static simulation, i.e. mass and material balance, the whole thing for steam is relatively simple
