I need references to two articles that were published either in Oil and Gas Journal or Hydrocarbon Processing on the above subject. A thread in this forum has these refernces but I am unable to find it the second time. Thanks

There have been about a kazillion articles about this particular subject printed over the decades

Piping size to transport whatever you want to deliver within the allowable pressure loss and velocity limit.  That sounds like an economic piping sizing.

Functions of various size pipelines " where is developed the cost function factor of .4 exponential factor
