LINKING TEXT

(OP)
We have several text boxes in the drawing side that are always the same values Ie. revision levels. is there a way to link these boxes so that if you change one value it will change the other linked boxes?

thanks for any help

RE: LINKING TEXT

Yes, there is a way to do this; unfortunately, I don't believe that there is an easy way to do it.  I think it has to be done on the CAA/RADE side.

We had a title block function that utilized this functionality.  It worked with text that was inserted in the background, and executed through a custom function.  It also had validation rules for naming and revision lettering, etc.

Sorry to give you so much information.  Just letting you know that it CAN be done...
