Hi all,

does anybody have experience with cold rolling of a spline acc. to DIN 5480 standard on a GROB machine? Is it possible? There are special standards for cold rolled splines though.

Spigor,
DIN 5480, part1, page 2, paragraph 3.2:
"Pressure angles of 37.5 and 45 degrees are preferred for production by cold rolling....."

Yes, but I'm looking for people that have really done it and could share some experience, give real tips on tool/process/result issues and what you should be awared of.
