SKETCH OVERDEFINE
SKETCH OVERDEFINE
(OP)
Hi Everyone,
I have experienced this particular problem a few times, and this time, I can't figure it out. I am doing a simple sketch (a few tangent arcs forming one cutout) and I just want to create a circular pattern. Every time I put a dimension, or a relation on the patterned sketch (which is un-defined) it says it is overdefined. When I delete the relation, I can move the sketch all over the place. I know I can pattern it in a feature, but I want to do it in a sketch. Also when I mirror the sketch, it is over defined. Thanks for your help
Brandon

I don't know if this will work for you or not, but I have a lot more luck with feature patterns than sketch patterns and it might get you moving.
