How to stop PDMWorks from loading with AutoCAD?

How to stop PDMWorks from loading with AutoCAD?

How to stop PDMWorks from loading with AutoCAD?

(OP)
We are the lucky users of SolidWorks 2006, ProE2001 and yes, AutoCAD 2000i.

We aren't going to use PDMWorks for either ProE or AutoCAD and yet it automatically installed an option that whenever I start AutoCAD I get PDMWorks running with it.  Anyway to stop that?

RE: How to stop PDMWorks from loading with AutoCAD?

IS there are any add-ins that you can un-select? If so, that would be where to turn it off at.

Type in "menuload" at the command line, and unload the menu group you do not want.  PDMWAUTOCADADDIN for example.

Hi

You may find that SolidWorks has appended to your acad.rx.
This file can usually be found in your AutoCAD program files folder structure. You can open it with notepad and remove any entry with pdm in it. If "pdm" is the only entry, you can safely delete this file.

Hope this helps
