On-line CAD Support
On-line CAD Support
(OP)
Hello fellow CAD users,
I'm faced with redundancy in my current job as CAD support engineer in the UK. I am thinking of starting an on-line CAD support web site specifically for Unigraphics problems, aimed at small companies that have just got going with UG. The website would have a few top tips plus an area where you can ask and review common questions and answers. Eventually the website would also have training sessions that you could download.
Does anyone think that this might be helpful? Is there already a number of web sites that do this sort of thing?
Any advice or suggestions would be welcome!

RE: On-line CAD Support
I would strongly suggest that you do not charge for training, because users are paying enough money already for the software and monthly maintenance fees and charging for online training is just another jab in the wallet that's more or less not welcomed.
Sounds like a time consuming project. I wish you luck if you decide to stick with it.

Also, ugcomunity.com has a Q&A section.
