Pure teetering rotors - associated problems

Pure teetering rotors - associated problems

(OP)
Greetings all,

I'm developing a UAV helicopter with a special construction that puts the centre of gravity on the plane of the rotor.  This allows me to eliminate torques due to the H-force and horizontal component of the tilted thrust vector.  I'd like to make it a pure teetering rotor construction, but I'm worried that if the rotor does not have any restoring torque, the aircraft will be uncontrollable.

The helicopter is a quadrotor, so I can change the attitude of the aircraft fairly easily, but am I letting myself in for a hard time doing this?

cheers,

-Paul
