text rotating during edit

text rotating during edit

text rotating during edit

(OP)
I'm working on an old v7 dot project.  When editing text in a sheet file the text gets rotated.  I think I've check most all settings and cannot find any sort of angle lock that is on.  Does anyone have suggestions?

RE: text rotating during edit

I had this problem before as well, and no one in our office could figure it out.  If I remember correctly, we even asked our contact at Bentley, and he had no idea either.

All I remember is that instead of being able to edit the text, I had to place brand new text for those notes that needed to be corrected.

Sorry I don't have any better news.

RE: text rotating during edit

I have also had this same problem and my fix was to edit my text, keeping the dialog box open and click the new text button and place the text.
This way you avoid having to re-type the text that you are editing this works really well especially when you have a long legal description to edit.
Regards,
Namdac
