resize text box

Is it possible to re-size a text box?  I'm using a text box to place a note on a drawing so that the note will automatically wrap.  I can get this to work just fine, but I'm unable to re-size the text box after the fact.  If I select the note, I can see the control handles of the text box, but they only let me move the note, not change the size.  Am I missing something or is this just the way it is?

I've tried locking the position of the note in order to try to force the control handles to resize the note, but no luck.

RE: resize text box

If you decrease the width of the text box, you have to make sure there is somewhere for the text to flow.  Double-click the text, and pick the lower-left corner point of the text box.  Drag the corner down, and to the left to decrease the width.

RE: resize text box

After what fact? After you finish writing the note? If you want to resize the text box double click the text find a place to send the text down to the next line (enter) then you can resize the box. YOu can never make the box smaller then the text is wide (length of characters). It does not stretch to accomidate the text like I have seen other windows apps. do.

RE: resize text box

To explain better, download this zip file:
http://www.mooload.com/new/file.php?file=files/010806/1154456310/text_resize.swf.zip

I am using Windows XP, and the stupid thing puts a password on the zip, and I don't know how to change it to extract it.  If you have XP, just double-click the zip and you will be inside the zip.  Copy and paste the 2 files from there to another folder.  The html shows that If there is no room for the text to flow to, you can't re-size it.  Once you increase the height of the text box, now you can decrease the text box width.

Thanks to you both - brain fart on my end.  I was getting lost in the fact that once I single-clicked on the text I was seeing what I thought were control handles of the text box.  Your posts made me realize that double-clicking the note was the way to go.

It's not even morning either.....  Must be too many meetings today.
