Capital Cost of Molecular Sieve

Capital Cost of Molecular Sieve

Capital Cost of Molecular Sieve

(OP)
I am trying to determine a range of capital costs for a molsieve to be used in a 40 mmgy ethanol dehydration plant. While I'm sure that costs vary with different companies and quality, I just need a ballpark figure to help me with a project I am working on. Thanks.

RE: Capital Cost of Molecular Sieve

What exactly are you looking for?  Just the mole sieve itself or the system (vessels, regen system, instrumentation, etc.)?  Will this be a batch or continuous system (factors into number of vessles)?

I probably don't have all the answers you need but I can guarantee you that no-one else will unless you can furnish at least a few basic details.  Good luck.

I am specifically looking into a pressure swing molecular sieve for a 40 mmgy facility. The capital cost is what I am trying to determine as though nothing was there and it was to be constructed in a new plant. Basically, the most efficient technology today as though I had the entire ethanol plant except the molsieves. The price and energy values I'm seeking include all expenses associated with new construction all the way to the zeolite bed. Sorry I didn't clarify earlier and this may still not be sufficient but I was asked to investigate this and I'm not 100% familiar with the current technologies.
