Design Scenario with Mesh Parameter

Design Scenario with Mesh Parameter

Design Scenario with Mesh Parameter

(OP)
I can't figure out how to create a design scenario with the mesh size as a parameter.  I created a parameter but it keeps saying "no parameter is linked to this study."  What step am I missing?

RE: Design Scenario with Mesh Parameter

I figured it out (only took a week and a half). :)

1.  Right-Click Mesh->Create Mesh

2.  Right-Click the area where you normally type in the mesh size and select Link Values

3.  Select the parameter you want to link.

4.  Click ok and then click the check mark.

5.  The design scenario then works as expected.

I don't understand why nobody would help me.  This site is usually extremely helpful, and that seems like a basic problem.

RE: Design Scenario with Mesh Parameter

Hi,
sorry, but you may understand that no-one here knows Everything in Every aspect... In my case, for example, I stopped using CW in version 2004, so I try to be careful when I find questions about aspects that have very likely changed up to version 2006... Even if I may know the answer for v2004, this could be very useless in v2006.

Regards
