AUX12 Radiation Matrix Method doesn't work

AUX12 Radiation Matrix Method doesn't work

AUX12 Radiation Matrix Method doesn't work

(OP)
Hello to everybody
There is a problem with the Ansys 3D thermal analysis: in "4.6. Using the AUX12 Radiation Matrix Method" at the point 2 Ansys tutorial tells

"Superimpose the radiating surfaces with a mesh of SHELL57 elements in 3-D models or LINK32 elements in 2-D models, as shown in the graphic below. The best way to do this is to first create a subset of the surface nodes, and then generate the surface elements using one of the following:

Command(s):
ESURF

GUI:
Main Menu> Preprocessor> Modeling> Create> Elements> Surf/Contact> Surf Effect> General Surface> Extra Node
Main Menu> Preprocessor> Modeling> Create> Elements> Surf/Contact> Surf Effect> General Surface> No extra Node

Make sure to first activate the proper element type for the surface elements. Also, if the surfaces are to have different emissivities, assign different material reference numbers before creating the elements."

but SHELL57 doesn't support this command... only SURFXXX does, but SURF doesn't work for radiation... someone knows how to use radiation in 3D or knows some other tutorial about radiation?
Bye!
