UG border indicator

UG border indicator

(OP)
This is probably a silly question. I the bar on top of the UG window in brackets its has

[partnumber.prt (Modified) (!)]

What does the exclamation mark mean?  I just didnt notice it before. This is an assembly file.

Just curious,

Means that the session is out of date (There is a part that is linked into another part that has been modified).

If you goto Tools --> Update --> Update Session this will update the link

RE: UG border indicator

You may get an out of date symbol if you have assembled component B & component C to Partfile A, and you have mated B & C in A(Mating condition is between B & C).If you suppress the B & C components using suppress by expression. You will get out of date symbol. This cannot be removed.
Only work around to remove the out of date symbol is to mate the component B to A and suppress Component B. Similarly for component C.

Karthik J
