HELP MS Project problem - Specific Start times for tasks

HELP MS Project problem - Specific Start times for tasks

HELP MS Project problem - Specific Start times for tasks

(OP)

I'm now pulling my hair out... I've got a tight dead-line and banging my head against the wall...!

I'm using MS Project for the 1st time. I have imputed my 36 tasks within the 24 hour period, outlining the different functions (tasks) of a distribution process from collection, packaging, distribution, returns etc...

I've got the point where setting the specific start times within the 24 hr period. I can not get the start to be anything other than the date in question.. <Task Information> - Start date - 01/09/06.. But I require more specific start times.. i.e. "Distributor travels from Hub to Manchester" 01/09/06 - 10-15hrs (for 2 hrs), for each of the 36 tasks...

Alternatively,

Can anyone suggest any other application that will be able to depict this type of information? It is only for a powerpoint presentation / handout at this stage.

Many Thanks..

A very pee'd off Mark.

RE: HELP MS Project problem - Specific Start times for tasks

You can change the Start format from MM/DD/YYYY to show Start and Finish like MM/DD/YYYY 12:33pm.
To do this, go to >Tools, >Options, >View, >Date Format

Hope this helps!
