california tilt wall

(OP)
For a concrete tilt wall building with a metal roof deck and joist framing, we would typically support the joist seats on 8"x6"x5/8"(LLV)x12" long seat angles welded to a steel embed.  We would then run a continuous 4"x3"x1/4"(LLH) along the wall and weld it down to the top of the joists and provide hilti anchors to the concrete wall.  This connection works fine on the east coast.

I know its hard to design a specific connection without knowing the parameters of the overall building, but would this connection need to change significantly if the concrete tilt wall building (with 1 1/2" metal roof deck and steel joists) were located in california zone 4?

For instance, maybe instead of seat angles, we would need to go with a continuous tube seat along the wall to better support the wall from trying to separate from the roof in an earthquake.  Also, where the joists run parallel to the wall, we might need to add bracing angles for the same reason.

Maybe the original connection might work?  Any input would be helpful.  Thanks.
