TUBE TRACING HEAT TRANSFER

TUBE TRACING HEAT TRANSFER

TUBE TRACING HEAT TRANSFER

(OP)
We have hot water at approx 240 deg F that is available for freeze protection.  Pressure delta is approx 140 ft of head from supply to return.  We also have 2" fiberglass insulation and aluminum metal cover.  Minimum fluid temperature is 40 deg F.

I am trying to find a program or table etc that shows the expected heat transfer from 1/2" and 3/8" copper tube tracing that is attached "bare" (without compound) to various sizes of steel piping.  I can find data for steam but nothing for water.  Possibly there is data for the heat transfer coeff for the tubing to pipe bare connection?

I have checked out the site cheresources.com but can't find the spreadsheet noted.  Is there more specific info on finding the spreadsheet or for another site that gives likely transfer coeff for pipe to tubing?
