Porous sparger design

Porous sparger design

(OP)
Hi. I have to incorporate a porous plastic sparger (made of UHMWPE) in a 'plastic' bag,  with an LDPE film. I think some of the designs possible are an o-ring around the porous membrane, which is then welded to the ldpe film, or a nozzle pipe, with around that the membrane to release the air. I was just wondering if there were any other types, and what tips people have for design and placement of the sparger, and which is best.
Thanks in advance for the help.
Cheers

Just an update, I was wondering if anyone knew about the sizing. From MottCorp, I have a general system for it, but I was wondering how one chooses the gas exit velocity (in tank, not agitated), and what the theory behind that is.
Thanks

Sounds like you're building a disposable fermenter? Good luck....
