When going to open a file "File/Open", if I select "PDMWorks Vault" on the left, an icon appears called "Open Advanced..." (same spot where "References" was). If I select that icon, my SW crashes everytime.
Does anyone know what that icon does?
Thanks.

RE: Open Advanced ...

ctopher,

What that button does is allows you to check out selected components that may be in reference to the component you selected. However the button changes from "Open Advanced" to "Check Out Advanced". I am not sure why you crash. there may be a bad reference to the part you are trying to open.

Best Regards,
Jon

OoooH, thanks CBL.
Thanks Jon. It crashes with all files. I've never been able to get it to work to try it.
I'll fix later. It's not a show stopper (just a SW stopper). rofl

RE: Open Advanced ...

Are you using the latest SP of PDM Works? I would also try to do a repair on the install if you haven't updated to the latest SP.

Jon
