Pro Engineer regeneration glitch

Pro Engineer regeneration glitch

(OP)
Could anyone tell me how to make Pro Engineer stop orienting back to the default postion after I have made a change. If I am zoomed in on a particular feature to edit and regen, the part always goes back to the (control+d) position.Ughhh

RE: Pro Engineer regeneration glitch

I'm not sure of there is a config option for that, however if you are working with a specific area that you want to keep coming back to, you can save a view for the orientation that you want.  That way the view you want is only a click away.

RE: Pro Engineer regeneration glitch

To set one of these orientations as your DEFAULT view:

- For an individual Pro/E session use the ENVIRONMENT menu.

- For a permanent change, include one of these lines in your config.pro:

ORIENTATION ISOMETRIC
or
ORIENTATION TRIMETRIC

If you would like something completely different, create your own default view -- which can be anything you wish to set in your config.pro.

Never argue with an idiot. They'll bring you down to their level and beat you with experience every time.

You may also want to use the View Previous option so you don't have to save every view orientation. This will work for any orientation you had before the Regen returned you to Default position.

Michael beat me to it.

The view-->previous tool is invaluable, and I set it up as a button right next to my view selector.
