working plane

(OP)
Hi,

I've created a working plane and I would like my forces and displacements to be created I this WP. After the WPLANE command, I've added :

CSYS,4
CSWPLA,11
DSYS,11
WPCSYS,11

Then, when I create my forces, they seem to be placed correctly in this WP but when I ask ANSYS to solve, they are automatically reoriented in the original coordinate system sadeyes

Any idea?

thanks in advance!!
cheers

RE: working plane

Nodal forces are applied in nodal coordinate systems!

You have to rotated the node coordinate systems via nrot command in to your local coordinate system!

Best Regards Stefan.
