I've lost my command manager.

I've lost my command manager.

I've lost my command manager.

(OP)
I had a slowdown/crash, and before the crash, I think I pulled my command manager away from the border and closed it.

When I restarted SW, my command manager wasn't there.  I RMB on the toolbar, and it said my command manager was active.  I can uncheck the command manager, and my features and sketch toolbars appear, but when I recheck it, everything disappears.

Am I missing something obvious?

RE: I've lost my command manager.

So do you have it enabled?  Here's what Help says, just in case:

Quote:

Click Tools, Customize.

In the dialog box, on the Toolbars tab, select Enable CommandManager.

Click OK.

Yes, using the process in the help is essentially what I did previously with my RMB.

Enabling it takes away my Features and Sketch toolbars.  It's driving me crazy having both features and sketches full size all the time.

RE: I've lost my command manager.

After re-checking to show your Command Manager, you may need to right-click a blank area of your toolbars and select your Sketch and Feature toolbars again.

I stopped using the Command Manager in 2004 (short-lived) after realizing I was still clicking a lot even though all my buttons would normally fit within my 21" monitor just fine--so it wasn't an enhancement to me.

Thanks for the help, but selecting sketch and feature toolbars after command manager is enabled doesn't work either - they just show up as independent toolbars.

RE: I've lost my command manager.

the Command Manager is there to conslidate all your toolbars... so after you turn on the CMD manager, close your other toolbars and add them to your Commandmanger... it's much better then using all those separate toolbars, and it gives you the ability to have more room on your desktop for your models instead of hundreds of toolbars.
