changing the colour of a layer

changing the colour of a layer

Question from a thickie here-I only started with Autocad last night!

I have done a drawing on 3 layers for a photo etch. The layers being top, bottom and a layout layer for my own guidence.
The trouble is that I did all 3 layers in white and its now getting very confusing. I know that I can change the peramiters of a line, but can I change the colour of all the items on a layer?
I need red and blue for the photoetchers.

I really dont know what all the fuss is about with Autocad. once you have worked through a couple of tutorials its fine.

RE: changing the colour of a layer

Select everything.  Make sure it is all "by layer" in color control.

Open layer manager (where you created the additional layers) and you should see a color associated with each layer.  You can change the colors here.
