Drawing Views

(OP)
In building molds I need to make drawings showing the electrode alone and then the insert and the electrode for it's location. When I make these views and try to hide one or the other, it happens in all the views. How can I do this?

RE: Drawing Views

I don't have it open now, but I think there is a selection to update the view only?

RE: Drawing Views

Is this an assembly or a multi body part?

RE: Drawing Views

Use Configurations to show what is needed & then set the views to the respective config.

RE: Drawing Views

This is a multi body part, not an assembly. If it were an assembly it looks like I could use $displaystate in a design table.
By the way thank you very much for your help.

RE: Drawing Views

You can still use a DT ... just use $STATE@Body-Delete1 instead.

RE: Drawing Views

Oh..I forgot another option...use "Relative View"...it will create a view of just the body selected.
