How do I draw one Tooth patteren?

RE: spur gears

Are you asking how to draw a gear tooth or how to pattern? If you need to know how to draw an involute tooth profile that is tough to explain but if you just need to know how to pattern a feature that's easy.

I need to know how to draw an involute tooth profile. Do you know any good site references or can you give me any direction?

RE: spur gears

It can be complicated to explain. Try this site for information about the parts of a gear and formulas for creating them.

Once you've looked at that you can either attempt to draw your own or there is a gear already drawn that you can download and modify here.
