Is anyone familiar with Fluke/Philips PM3082?

RE: PM3082

While we are on that subject, anyone have a Philips PM5192.  I haven't been able to get beyond the basic functions.

RE: PM3082

Should we understand that Fluke/Philips does not keep documentation on their old instruments?

Hi felixc

They do actually.
I need the service manual which they sell for £125!!About half the price that I've paid for the scope !!Simply out of my budget.

Manuals for almost all earlier versions are all over the web but this one, well no luck yet.

I was hoping that someone here can help.

P.S. This is an exMoD scope, so I guess someone from MoD (or exMoD) would know all about it.

RE: PM3082

Cooke International have a pretty good range of manuals. They don't list the PM3082 but do list the PM3092 which is a close cousin of the PM3082. TTi are a main reseller for Fluke and might be able to help - maybe undercut list price at least!

Both are decendents of the older PM3055 scope which was a very well built piece of kit. Outclassed technically by the Tektronix and LeCroy 'scopes of the day, but with a casing tough enough to go out in the field day after day. Where did you acquire it?

Hi ScottyUK

Thank you for your reply
Tried Cooke, it was a negative. I'll try TTI though they sound expensive.

I bought it on Ebay.

RE: PM3082

I doub't that you're going to get much traction.  The lowest price I've seen on manuals on-line was about $60US.

Hi IRstuff
Manuals for a large variety of equipment can be found on the web for free, e.g. everything Tek & also older Philips scopes.
Another great many can be found on Ebay sold on CDs for prices as low as £5.
Have a look for yourself :)
