Equivalent Standard to AS 2129

Equivalent Standard to AS 2129

(OP)
Hello,

Its my first post, so I hope I'm doing this right...

Does anyone know if ASME B16.5 is completely compatible with AS2129 (Australian flange spec).

The best I could find on the net is that AS 2129 Table D & E match ANSI 150# Flanges, but I with to confirm that all sizes and ratings of flanges under AS 2129 will have the same drillings as flanges in ASME B16.5.

Thanks

Richard

RE: Equivalent Standard to AS 2129

Definitely not compatible. As I remember AS 2129 was based on the old BS 10 flanges. You should obtain a copy of AS 2129 for pressure/temp ratings. See attached link for AS 2129 dimensions.
