3-D Rendor Error: Wrong color being displayed

3-D Rendor Error: Wrong color being displayed

3-D Rendor Error: Wrong color being displayed

(OP)
Hello,
I am trying to render a view into 3-D. The colors that I have mapped to my layers in the Materials Library are not displaying with the correct colors. For example, I chose the color Med-Ash for an object, but when renders, it appears purple.
I would greatly appreciate any help.
Thanks!
Kagri

RE: 3-D Rendor Error: Wrong color being displayed

You must set the preferences to "Photo Real" or "Photo Raytrace" otherwise the materials are not displayed when rendered.

Thank you for answering my question. That makes sense.
Your answer actually leads me to another question -- when I attempt to render using the Photo Real or Photo Raytrace option, I get an unknown renderer error, and it stops rendering.
I can only render using the "Render" option. Any ideas?

Thanks again!
Kagri
